2 Wedding Bands Along with Engagement Ring

Hello!

My husband got me 2 wedding bands that go beautifully along with my engagement ring (1 for the wedding band and 1 as a wedding gift). Is it ok to have 3 bands? Someone mentioned to me that you're not supposed to get another band until 5 or 10 years (I can't remember)?. Thanks
