     5 stone engagement ring?

What is the story behind the traditional diamond solitaire ring for engagement? I found a beautiful 5stone ring that I fell in love with. I was wondering if it is ok to use it as an engagement ring and put it with a plain silver wedding band.

Diamond solitaire rings are traditional, but any engagement rings can be one, two, three stones etc. it depends on what makes you and your fiance happy, any plain wedding band would look great with a engagement ring with one or more diamonds. Enjoy your rings. Good luck

I completely agree. It really doesn't matter as long as you are both happy with the choice.
