Antique vs. Antique Style Wedding Rings

As the time to buy a ring draws near I need to make sure that I am buying the type of ring she has in mind. She has mentioned that she would like an antique ring. Does this mean an actual antique ring or is there an "antique style" in a new ring. I could just ask her, but I would much prefer to keep the element of surprise. Am I the only one that finds the idea of a used wedding ring taboo? Thanks for any information.

Hi, bachelor#1,

Typically, an "antiqued" ring is not an actual antique, but a ring that is designed in an antiqued style. So it is usually a brand new ring.

We have many such rings on our website for example, and there are many on the internet that you can find as a good starting place to shop.
