     Bad Luck or Not

My engagement and wedding ring are a interlocking pattern and the ring really looks incomplete without them together (not a shadowband) and we were wanting to know if it would be bad luck to just go ahead and wear the full set now before we are actually married or would it be ok considering it was made to be together and not apart? Dear Bad Luck,

I'm not sure that I believe in 'bad luck', so I don't think you need to worry about that. An engagement ring really is not necessary to be formally engaged, but a wedding ring is part of the ceremony. So, you could simply forgo wearing the ring until the ceremony. It is very tempting to wear the entire ring now, but you are not married.

Best wishes,

We do not believe in good and bad luck. We believe in the individuality of the wedding and what makes you happy. If you are inclined to wear the set, go ahead and enjoy it. You will not be criticized. they are meant to be worn together. Jerry Biern, Wedding Vow Rings
