I recently got engaged and am now thinking if it is proper to get my fiance a ring? I know this is unheard of custom but I personally like the idea of my fiance wearing a ring as well.
Please let me know what you think. And could you also suggest a price range? I'm a full time university student so a little tight on money.
Thanks a bunch!

I can't suggest how much to spend on a ring but if you'd like to get him one it sounds like a great idea, as long as he will wear it. If you're on a tight budget this is something that is not necessary. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

I am sure that I will be engaged soon (my boyfriend and I have been together for 10+ years), and I know he bought a ring. I, too, liked the idea of getting my soon-to-be fiance something in return to show that we were engaged. I bought him really nice watch that I know he wanted but would never have gotten on his own. It wasn't as expensive as diamond ring, but I know he'll love it. Now, I just need to wait for him to pop the question so I can give him his present (I've had it for over a year now).
