How much can I expect to pay for a diamond engagement ring
First of all I would like to thank you for the advice. I am new to this stage in my life and I do not know a lot about rings. I have done some research, and have picked up a few ideas.
Lets get to my question: I ran across a local jewelry store that is going out of business, and they have 70% off a platinum diamond engagement ring. The ring is simply amazing, and I checked the clarity and color of the diamond. Here are the specs of the diamond:
.40 carat diamond SI 2 clarity I color The price of the ring was originally $3,000 and it was marked down to $900.
This seems like a good deal to me, but then again I do not know a lot about this topic. Would the store mark up the original price to make the sale look better or is this a good deal?
Please excuse any mistakes in my typing because I do not know a lot about this subject.
Thanks so much for your time and help,
Brian
