Is this a inappropriate time to propose?

My girlfriend is hinting at me everyday about getting engaged. If it was up to her we would have been engaged months ago. We will be having our 6 month anniversary of being together on the 27th of this month.

I was really thinking of proposing the 27th on our anniversary. I work 2 jobs, working 6-7 days a week. We very rarely get days off together due to this.

Another reason the 27th would be perfect, is we both have the 27th and 28th off. This is the first time we have had a day off together since I started my second job.

Only one problem, her brothers wedding is the 27th and 28th. This is the reason we actually do have off. Is it wrong for me to propose in such a way? Would I be stepping on her brothers toes? She wants to get engaged as soon as possible, and is hinting at it every single day.

If that is a bad thing to do, what is a good time amount of time to wait for me to propose after her brothers wedding?
