Is white gold or yellow gold bettr looking on a pale skinned bride
I got engaged in March and we picked out the engagement ring together. I had picked a white gold solitaire and now I'm thinking I would look better in yellow gold. Which is better to have on a pale looking bride (not tan)?

Dear Minnesota,
I'm not sure about the color, but if you have already purchased the ring, it would be costly to change your mind at this point.
Personally, I don't think the color is a big issue. It is a preference.

Hi, Minnesota,
I agree with previous response. Typically, this is more of a style preference.
One other issue to consider is that yellow gold is easier maintenance than white gold. With white gold in order to maintain the very white look, you may need to rhodium plate the wedding ring every 2-5 years, depending on wear and tear. But rhodium plating is very minimal cost-wise, so if you prefer white gold, it really is not a big issue. Afshin from Apples of Gold Jewelry Professional Jeweler
