Lost when it comes to mens rings

I'm not sure where, how much to pay, or whats acceptable when it comes to mens wedding rings. We are recently engaged and I want to go ahead and save up for his ring. I know he doesn't want gold or embellishments but other then that I'm lost. I know the man typically buys the rings but since he makes significantly more then me he will be picking up the tab on a lot of the wedding and I'm hoping to, at least, buy his ring.

Dear Lostlovers,

Traditionally, you would be purchasing his ring and he yours. But, today the couple usually purchases these together, so both of you get the rings you want and still maintain a budget.

There is no set amount for purchasing a ring. It should just be something he likes that is within your budget.

Best wishes,
