My boyfriend and I are very much looking forward to getting married but without all the glitz and glamour. I've always thought it to be extremely romantic to elope. Since we are eloping is it okay to just have a wedding band and no engagement ring? I realize people do get engaged, and then elope, however is it okay if I do otherwise - skip the engagement ring and go right to the wedding?
Thank you in advance!

The only ring really required is the wedding band. No engagement ring is necessary. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
