When me and my fiance first thought about rings we were planning on getting plain bands that matched, which is when he mentioned putting a personal engraving on them. His idea was to engrave a message inside the band and we couldn't see each others until we exchanged rings on our wedding day. It turns out we ended up buying me a really pretty wrap that makes it look like my ring has a wedding band (part of the wrap sits around my ring with 2 diamonds on each side, but part of the front looks thick like there is a band as well, but it is all one piece) and him a detailed band. He hasn't mentioned it again, but I am kind of sad that there is really no room on the thin wrap to put some sort of engraving. Do you have any suggestions on another way to add something personal to our rings or even something else we could do? I don't want him to think I forgot about his sweet idea, or that I wasn't interested, but I'm just not sure what option I have. Thanks.

Why don't you go ahead and engrave your message inside his wedding ring and he will know, that you are not the one who forgot the conversation you had about the special engraved message. At that time maybe he will do something special for you, maybe a piece of jewelry you could wear around your neck with a special message engraved on the back. Good luck.
