     Quick question

Well, to put it simply my fiance and I both don't particularly like gold...and neither of us like diamonds...

I was wondering if there is a place that I could customize a ring to have gems other than diamonds and a silver band. I've been told there is little difference in white gold and silver while on my ever-searching quest for such a place of creation but she'd really prefer silver. Any tips or pointers in the right direction would be most grateful. Please forgive my lack of knowledge in this field.

Edit: To clarify it's for her engagement ring.

In almost all shopping malls, or shopping centers you will find stores that carry silver jewelry, synthetic stones and other gem stones. You should find something in their silver department, and most jewelry stores will have silver rings. Over a period of time silver will oxidize and loss its luster, while gold remain shiny and durable. Good luck.
