Should groom wear his earrings at the wedding?

Should my groom wear his earrings at the wedding or should I get him a nice pair for the wedding? Are there rules for this?

This is a personal choice. There is no etiquette rule for men wearing earrings in public or to weddings.

If he wears the earrings, you like him in earrings, and you'd like to get him a gift of a new pair of earrings then this sounds like a nice option.

Just keep in mind that years from now you'll be looking at photos so dress accordingly.
