     Swollen fingers affecting wedding band?

I am getting married in August and I have already noticed that some days (esp when hot outside) my fingers swell. This is going to make it difficult for my FH to get the wedding band on my finger at the ceremony. Is there any sure-fire remedy to make the swelling go away other than running cold water over the hands?

Try to avoid salty foods and drinking alcohol the week before your wedding day. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water each day helps to keep swelling down too. If you have severe swelling you should consult your physician.
