Just as I wished my fiance proposed with a diamond eternity band ( I did not want the traditional engagement ring, not my style). Is it improper to wear this ring prior to the wedding ceremony? I know he expects me to wear the eternity band now and plans to get a thin solid band for the ceremony. I prefer to wear only this ring on my left third finger, with nothing else, but I'm still trying to convince him of this. Please help!

Dear Rings,
If you are going to consider this your wedding ring, you shouldn't wear it now. If you plan to wear another ring for your wedding ring, then you can wear this now.
