I'm looking for some advice. I've done my homework and have an idea of the right engagement ring. We've been together for almost 2 years, are both 24, and live in different cities due to work but I see her every weekend.
I'm looking to pop the question in a few months but we are planning a trip to the Carribean in May.
When do I ask? Should it be before the trip like I've been planning or do I wait till the trip? If I wait till the trip then she'll know it's coming!
Help! Advice needed!

No one can answer this question better than you can. Only you know the two of you best. Search your heart and I'm sure you'll make the best decision for you. And, trust me, when you come up with your own idea, it will show and be appreciated and memorable. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

I agree. There really isn't any etiquette involved. It is all about you, your lady, and your relationship. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
