     Who buys his wedding ring

I am getting married and would like to know if I am supposed to buy his wedding ring? I have argued with my mother that I am supposed to buy his and he mine, but she swears he is to buy both rings. Help me settle this argument so that we can go on to another, lol.

Dear Nukeguard,

Traditionally, yes. You purchase his and he yours. But, most often now, the couple purchases these together. You two will be pooling your money together anyway--hopefully.

But, the simple answer is that you are correct. That has to feel good, huh? Wink

Best wishes,
