     need advice on engagement ring

I am looking for a engagement ring and I like the three stone settings but I notice most of them say past present and future. What does this mean? Can I give one of these or do I need a solitaire? Thanks for any advice.

Choosing an engagement ring and wedding ring is a personal choice. Traditionally, the solitaire was the ring chosen most often, but now many are choosing the 3 stone ring which at one time was marketed as an anniversary ring. If you choose a 3 stone ring or any variation other than a solitaire, you can choose your wedding ring to match with diamonds or you can choose a custom band.
