I have a 1/4 ct. princess cut solitaire. I want an enhancer for it, but it's small and seems to look funny with an enhancer. We looked at one that had 1/4 ct. t.w. diamond band on the bottom. Then my solitaire would be in the middle with another 1/4 ct. t.w. band on the top. Do you think that the bands would overpower the solitaire?

Your center stone is .25 carat and is much larger then the single stones in the enhancer, your .25 carat solitaire will over power the smaller stones. In the future you can always up grade to a larger center stone and still use the same enhancer. I think it will look great. Good luck.
