Hi!
My sister is planning a winter wedding next year and we have already started looking for a some interesting ideas. The wedding will be in February and we are thinking about Calla Lilies. As a lot of brides preparing and paying their wedding by themselves, we have a tight budget.
Please give as some ideas for flowers for 50-60 dollars.

You are a bit vague about what you would like to achieve for $50 or 60 dollars...[crazy] But you should be able to get Iris, roses, callas and orchids ( very peak at that time if dendrobiums) for a reasonable cost that time of year.
Always the best way to save money is with a small wedding party and elegant simplicity.
For centerpieces you could float candles and open roses in glass bowls for easy money and a nice look.
My best advise is to splurge a bit on the bridal bouquet. (actually I would recommend having that made by a florist if possible ...It is traditionally a gift from the groom so maybe he will take care of that...) Then really go simple for attendants...Even perfect single blooms with a just right sort of classy stem wrap.
Consider Googling about for flowers in the mail and get a case of something delivered then stretch it as far as you can go. [:)][;)] Look for good sales on vases and components and get a little creative.
One thing I see a lot with Brides on a budget is confusion as to how to approach the task. Too often this leads to an unfocused visit to a crafts store and a basket full of goodies that seemed reasonable at the time but then are discarded when push comes to shove.
Envision first the kind of look and style you want to achieve. Then pull out you creative juices to achieve that. More than anything spend a little time designing and planning ahead of time. Nothing will bust a budget like an undiciplined shopping trip.
Take it from me.I am a Wedding florist. If I don't take a good detailed list when I go to the wholesale flower market I spend a good solid 30% more. Human nature when you see pretty stuff!
Good luck and happy planning!
