I have 10 in my bridal party, 5 bridesmaids, 5 groomsmen. Maids of honor are wearing Champagne color and the other 3 bridesmaids are wearing apple red. Two groomsmen will be escorting the maids of honor (with the champagne colors). What color tie and vest should they wear? (men are all wearing black tuxedos). The other groomsmen are going to match bridesmaids by wearing apple red. What color should the groom wear? Should I just do all apple red accessories? My sister thinks the men's vest/tie should match the dress of the bridesmaid they escort and the groom should be in white vest/tie. I just think that will be too much going on. Please help. My wedding is 5 months away.[unsure]

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I would leave the men in Champagne color vests and ties, but would add apple red color flowers to their boutonierres. That would "tie" the wedding party colors together in a nice, subtle way. The groom might be in a white vest/tie with the same color+champagne color reflecting in his boutonierre. Or, you can do the opposite: put the groomsmen in apple red vest/tie. In this situation, you can use champagne vest/tie combination for the groom. But I think the first option would be more elegant, with more subdued colors and more attention to you and your fiancee - the stars of the show! Enjoy the wedding!
