There's always the bouquet toss for the single ladies and never anything for the married ladies at weddings. I would like to do something different. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Alternative to bouqet toss for the married ladies

The bouquet toss is done mainly out of tradition. And, most married women I know dread anything organized like that, but how about asking all of the couples who have been married more than 10 years(or any number) to dance? There really aren't any traditions that include the ladies already married.

I agree, more and more brides are skipping the bouquet toss and going with the longest anniversary and newest married couple excluding the B&G of course.

Then let me ask you this. If they forgo the bouquet toss, do they also forgo the garter removal/toss?

I agree with both experts: the "Anniversary Dance" is an excellent tradition, it is very touching and is always very well-received! Go for it!

It's up to you to do include whatever traditions you like. The garter can be removed and tossed without throwing the bouquet. They are exclusive.
