My son has asked me to give a toast/speech at his wedding. What are the areas that should be covered?

Your are going to want to cover the following areas:
1.) Welcome his wife to the family
2.) If this is a rehearsal dinner, address your guests and thank them for coming.
2.) Mention something special about your son. Maybe a happy memory or something special that you two did as father and son.
3.) Talk about how he's changed (for the better) since meeting his new bride
4.) Congratulate your son and his new wife
5.) Close it out with a toast to the bride and groom.
