Top Wedding Questions: Would have loved a carriage but my church is in the middle of the city. - Top Wedding Questions

I was told there was no way that I could have a carriage in front of the church because my church is in middle of the city. I thought it was a really great Idea but everyone disagreed very quickly because the church is in the middle of the city and I was told it would hold up traffic to much. I was just curious if anyone ever does them anymore except for royalty or in New York?

I think it would really depend on the location of your church. If you're near the park then it could be an option since you see carriages there al the time. I do know that many of the carriage companies say carriage rides outside the park can only occur after 11pm Monday through Saturday and after 8pm on Sundays.

Perhaps you could ask your church and contact a few carriage companies in manhattan since they would be able to tell you for sure.
