Wedding dress for eloping

Hello,

My boyfriend and I decided to elope in a couple of weeks in Jasper, Alberta and I am not sure where to begin dress shopping. I am looking for a strapless, knee-length Audrey Hepburn type dress in white or a pastel colour. From what I remember from shopping for dresses for friend's weddings it takes forever to order a bridesmaid type dress and actual wedding dresses are way too dressy/expensive for this occasion. I saw some really nice dresses on the J Crew web site but I'm not sure where to begin looking here in Canada. Any advice?
