I really need help. My sis is my moh, and my two older children, who will be 9 and 8 come wedding day, will be my jr. bridesmaids. I bought all their dresses already. They are pink shimmer satin gowns. See pic. Well, my sis doesnt look good in it. She is on the short, well, chubby side, and this dress made her tummy really show, and hips. I was wondering what I should do. I can get the same dress for her, but not in shimmer satin, just satin, and a-line. Will that flaater her figure more so? I am now really liking another dress too. See next pic. It is a line, satin, in pink, but strapless, and with rhinestone trim. Would it look really bad to have my daughters in shimmer satin dresses, and my sis is something different? I do want her to stand out a bit, as she is the maid of honor, but i dont want it all to look badly put together. My main fear is the fact that my daughters dresses are shimmer dresses, and that if my sis doesnt have a shimmer one as well, it will look awful. What do you think? Please help!

Dear Dress Problems,

Actually I think these would be perfect because your daughters and your sister are separated by age. It seems appropriate for them to be in different dresses. Your two daughters will be in the same dress with your sister in a sophisticated dress. Looks good.

Best wishes,
