Must I have flowers in my bouquet? I'd really like a bouquet made with dyed onion grass, feathers, and other similar non-traditional, but elegant, floral materials. I've never been a "flower person" but I don't know how I would even achieve my personalized bouquet.

Thank you in advance to anyone with any advice.

I think your idea is a fine one. Gather pictures and maybe some of the ingredients for a bouquet you would like and take them to florists. Then what you are looking for from them is an open mind, willingness and confidence that they can listen to you well enough to make you happy. It might take a little looking. It will take a few appointments. Your main challenge is to find the right designer to implement your wishes. Personally I think it sounds like a fun and unique proposition. One thing for sure is to allow plenty of lead time to gather and arrange the unusual components. Finding a floral designer that is up to the challenge will be the tricky part. Best of luck and have a great wedding day!!!
