Buying the wedding band

I was wondering who buys the wedding band. Does the bride buy it or do they both go and buy it together?

Dear Marissa,

Traditionally the bride pays for the groom's ring and the groom pays for the bride's ring. However, in today's world of couples living together, these are more often bought together. So, if your funds are co-mingled, purchase them together. If not, it is fine to follow tradition.
