Hi!

I'm on the hunt on how to do my hair and makeup. I'm hoping to be able to do both my self, just so we can save a bit ;)

First, for the makeup.
I have red hair, pale skin but rather redish/pinkish cheeks. I want a natural look, and think I have found a style I like, but I'm not sure about which color eyeshadow I should choose.
The general theme of the wedding is red/white with roses, my dress will be white with red roses around the neckline.
Also, what would be a good way to tone down the red tone on both my cheeks and amrs?

And then the hair.
I am a bit unsure about what to do with my hair. My dress is a victorian dress.

When it comes to your make-up think "peaches and cream". Peachy tones will add a warm tone to your fair skin. Use shadows that are a warm peach tone rather than anything dark brown. This way you will look classic and natural. The best way to have long lasting make-up is to layer it. Having a thin layer of a neutral shadow under the peach eye shadow will help it stay on longer. To make your eyes pop, add a thin layer of liner in a dark brown/alomst black color. It is up to you on applying it to both the top and bottom lid, but you definitely need to add it all the way across the top. My suggestion for natural looking liner is to use a flat edge brush. For the liner you can either use a powder or a liquid, but most importantly use the flat brush!!! The same thing goes for your lips and cheeks. For your face, apply a translucent powder then the blush. This way you can't tell that you have multiple layers of make-up, but your cheeks will glow and look radiant from the first dance to the last. As for your lips start out with a lipstick that is close to your lip color and then add a gloss with a peach tone. Instead of lipstick you could also use a liner on the edges of your lip and then fill the rest in. That extra layer of lipstick/liner will help your gloss stay on after your toast. Plus as your gloss wears off that layer of lipstick/liner will still look nice, so you won't be able to tell that your lip color is fading.

My suggestion for you hair is to style it simple. Simple hair has been a trend for a lot of our brides. I recommend soft barrell curls which can be done with rollers and/or a curling iron. You can either pull back one side or both. This way your hair is out of your face. Plus this hair style will look great with the Victorian look that you have.
