I wanted to know what the rules are for getting married in a catholic church
I am currently getting divorced after splitting up with my wife 18months ago. I have since met someone very special, and i was wondering what the catholic church's stance on getting married in a church is.
I was married in a civil ceremony and i am a christian, my ex wasn't religious hence the civil ceremony, my new partner is catholic and has always wanted to be married in a church.
So i wanted to know would i be able to marry her in a catholic church even though i have been married before
Also does the reason for getting a divorce make a difference, because my soon to be ex wife is paying for the divorce, she has said that i had an affair because it is the easiest and cheapest way to do it
