Proper Ring Bearer Suit

My daughter is getting married in a 5pm church wedding. The bridesmaids are wearing light gold - almost a taupe color. We have 2 ring bearers who are to wear eton jackets and short pants. My question: I have found 2 suits; one is a flax linen suit with light ivory shirt to be worn with white knee socks and white oxford shoes and the other suit is white linen with a white shirt, white knee socks, and white shoes. ( Basically ALL white!) I thought the flax was closest to the dresses of bridesmaid and flower girls . DO you have any thoughts?
