Double Engagement Party?

My husband and I have three daughters, two of them became engaged in December 2005. We are pressed for time due to the fact that my husband and I are moving out of state at the end of March '06. and want to do something for them before we go. Would it be tacky to host an engagement party for the two couples together? My main concern is wording the invitations since some of the guests them will know both couples and some of them won't.

Thank You for your help!

Dear Engagement Party,

There are big problems with this due to the fact that those invited to the engagement party must be invited to the wedding. The ladies may not have their budgets finalized yet.

The biggest problem though is that the focus is not on just one daughter. They have to share the spot light.

However, if they have no problem with this and every guest is on at least one daughter's guests list, you could give the party.

If you decide to host this party, don't worry about wording the invitations. The guest only needs to know one of the couples.

Best wishes,
