As MOG I am extremely involved in the wedding planning - we need help. We have 1 Groomsman - no bridesmaids, step FOB, FOG, Grand FOG, Ringbearer. Now here is the tricky part - the bride's brothers will meet her at the alter, she also wants her nephews to wear tuxedos, they have small parts in wedding. She wants to use one of her colors in the tuxedos (vest, tie), but I mentioned IF the FOB and FOG have colors in the their tuxes, the mothers would have to wear the same color in their dresses. I don't particularly want to have to do that. She would like the groom to wear a black vest & tie, groomsman to wear colored vest & tie. WHAT ABOUT THE REST? I am imagining a tuxedo fiasco! Please help!

First, you, and the MOB should be coordinating your wedding dress with one another, not with the male attendants.

Second, all the males who have a part in the wedding, no matter how small, should be dressed similarly.

Cheers!

I completely agree. The bride's mother chooses her outfit first and then you coordinate with her.

Please remember that tuxes are formal evening wear.
