We are getting married in Jamaica really soon. Upon our return home, we are having a large reception for our friends and family. I have gotten "wedding" favors for our reception. We went with personalize M&Ms; that say the wedding date, etc.
We have also gotten our wedding party personalized gifts. I know it is etiquette to get your parents gifts. Which we are going to do. However, besides the parents and bridal party there will be 1 or 2 friends and an aunt and uncle who will be joining us for our wedding... should we get them a gift? We will be having a small cocktail reception after the wedding in Jamaica. Should I get all of the guests the same typical favor you would see at the big reception?
I feel like I should be spending more money than a bag of almonds or chocolates on these wedding attendees because they spent so much money to come to our wedding.

Dear Jamaica Bride,
A gift is not necessary. However, many couples will give their destination guests something like a welcome basket of local items or a cocktail welcome.
Best wishes,
