The bridesmaids dresses will be teal. Other than that, I don't know what colors would go with teal. It's a late October wedding but want to stay away from traditional "fall" colors such as burgundy, gold and greens. What colors would compliment teal? Thanks for your suggestions.

Brown is a really popular color choice this season and, if you haven't seen it paired with teal yet, put them together and see how well they coordinate!

Wow, brown is a color I would not have thought of. But how would I work brown in? Flowers, decorations? I'm not sure what or where to use brown. Thanks for any additional suggestions. The bridal gown is Maggie Sottero white diamond.

Use brown as your accent color for items such as table linens, bridesmaids shoes and accessories, etc.

Teal is a very easy color to complement. Silver provides an elegant contrast for teal. Also, consider using dark greens. If you have any type of graphic program on your computer, create a blank page and generate a rectangle, fill with the color teal that you will have. Then adjacent to that color box, place another rectangle and fill with different colors until you get the one you want. This helps you to "visualize" the colors of your theme.

[:)] To follow this theme through with flowers Take a look into the brown to salmon to peach blooms and be sure to add something a bit on the bright side.

Some flowers to look at are roses in butterscotch, salmon and the brown bicolor rose called Leonidas. There are some truly amazing gerber daisies in toned shades to discover. The addition of some lime or hot salmon accents will bring the colors out and provide the punch needed to keep up with the teal...

I have participated in a few other chats on teal on this website...You may want to go to them for other ideas as well.

It is a great color and fun to work with once you get into it. Have fun and happy planning![:(]
