I'm having a really hard time finding a reception site. To start off, we had a hard time because we need something for 200 people with dancing room and we are on a tight budget. We finally found a place, went and checked it out, put down a deposit, and to our dismay it was condemned by the health inspector for an out-of-date heating system (which is useless in June). SO I am running out of options. I have tried several churches, firehalls, VFWs, American Legions to no avail.
We are now willing to go more expensive but even the expensive places are taken! HEALP! The wedding is in Southern New Jersey.

Do you know anyone with a large enough yard to accomodate this many guests? Have you tried local attractions like zoos, museums, or even the Camden aquarium?

Try searching for more NJ wedding reception halls here.

Stay calm and focused and let us know how this works out for you.

I did find a Masonic Lodge, but was wondering about etiquette in this case. Would having a reception there possibly offend some people? I don't really have an opinion about the place but my fiance said there might be some problems.

I don't think there should be a problem. It definitely isn't an etiquette faux pas.
