I am attending a wedding in July in Portland Maine, the attire is formal. Please let me know what I should wear. I am 35 year old male.
Suit, tie? Please advise.

Dear Male,
It depends on the time of day and location. If it is held during the evening at a very formal location, you would wear a tux. But, more than likely a suit would work.

The wedding is @ 5PM on a Saturday. The location of the wedding seems to be a church of some sort on a small litte island.
So I am Ok with a tux either way?
If I were to go with a suit, which colors are ok to wear for a suit?

Only wear the tux if you know there will be others dressed formally. Either will do though, because there will more than likely be some in suits and some in tuxes.
