Cream colored dress for wedding guest?

I would like to wear a cream colored sundress to a wedding. It is about mid-calf length. I think the style is appropriate as the wedding is outdoors at 11:00am with a lunch reception following. However, is cream inappropriate for a wedding as it is close to white?

Dear Dress Dilemma,
Sure, as long as it doesn't appear to be a dress that someone could wear as a wedding dress. Those 'rules' of not wearing white are gone these days. So, there are no worries.
