I am having a very informal outside wedding in July. There will be picnic tables that will have tablecloths. I have old glass milk bottles as centerpieces, which will have flowers, but for the rest of the table I have no idea what to put. I wanted to do tealights, but it will be during the day so there is no use in candles. I am trying to achieve a simple luncheon country theme...each table is 8ft. long so I have quite some space to work with. Any ideas???
Thanks in Advance!![:)]

For your guests names, you could paint each guests' name on inexpensive fiber woven placemats.
Since it will be outside, consider purchasing colorful plastic or glass serving pitchers that can be filled with lemonade and ice tea, so guests will have a choice of beverages. These often come with colorful matching glasses and are very affordable.
A fresh watermelon boat, carved and filled with a variety of cut fruit could be placed on each table, which would also add color as well as a tasty addition to the meal.
You could also include fresh rolls served in woven baskets, covered with linen that match your wedding theme.

Thank you so much for your ideas!! I was also thinking of buying inexpensive tea tins of various designs and adding those down the middle of the tables and fill them with flowers...does that sound like it would be pretty? My idea idea of country is sorta of turning into garden tea country...so would this work?
Thanks in Advance!![:(]

These sound very cute. Don't second guess yourself. You have some really great ideas. Your wedding is informal so, as long as you find these things pleasing, you should be fine.
