Cell phone/photography notation on program okay?

I just about have my daughter's program ready. They've written a nice thank you on the back. I would like to put really small on the bottom the following: No flash photography, please. Have you checked your cell phone? Thank you! The last wedding I went to I was so distracted by flashes and by two cell phones ringing. Is this okay, do you think? Thanks for your quick response!!

Dear MOB,
It is unfortunate that we must consider this today. But, there are those who have created this problem and we now have to step outside our comfort level. This is a judgment call, but in my opinion it is fine. You are asking politely and all of your guests will benefit if those who are clueless enough to allow their phones to ring are asked to turn them off.
In fact, the last few weddings I attended began with the officiant asking for all cell phones to be turned off. It is unfortunate.
Best wishes,

What I do is type up a small statement for the officiant and request that s/he make the photography and cell phone announcement at the beginning of the ceremony. The reason is that many guests don't even look at the back of the program until it is too late.
