Red Wedding Dress. Veil??

I am in the processing of picking out my wedding gown from three deep red (almost burgundy) dresses. Has anyone ever seen a red wedding dress at a wedding? I am struggling with what to wear for a veil. I think White will look to stark. Wondering if anyone has ever seen a dark red or black veil?

Thanks!!

Yes, I have worked for Brides who wore red gowns. I would say to either skip the white/black veil and wear a tiara. Or, have a designer hand make a veil that is the color of your gown. The latter may cost a bit more but the colors will flow so much better.

In the etiquette world red is just fine for brides and bridesmaids. Guests are the only ones who shouldn't wear it.

Can I ask why guests aren't supposed to wear red?? I guess i was thinking specifically if the bride and/or bridesmades do not wear red.

You and your ladies are supposed to be the center of attention, especially you. Red is a great way to make sure this happens. Red is a powerful color that draws the eye, which is why guests shouldn't wear that color.
