I am having an informal outdoor summer wedding! I ask a friend of mine to sing at the ceremony and then for the reception we will have CD'S. At this site there is no electrical outlets near where the ceremony will be held (it's in the woods). Is there a such thing as a wireless microphone and amp (i think thats what musicians use)? Or does anyone else have any suggestions?

You might check into getting a portable karaoke machine that runs on batteries. That way, she can use a microphone while singing and her voice will be amplified through the karaok machine's speakers.

If she is a strong singer, she may not need to use a microphone. For a small gathering in the woods, her voice may carry without any problem. Be sure and ask her what she would want or need to ensure the event happens without any problems.
