Hi, i'm 20 years old and have not been to wedding. Finally I am going to one as my boyfriends date and the groom happens to be my manager. The wedding is on Friday. Basically i have no idea what so ever what is ok to wear. The wedding starts at 4:oo pm and i believe it is not in a church. I have one dress i was thinking of wearing. It is a creamy tan with brown and blue flowers about knee lenth and has brown halter straps. is this appopriate? is a dress to fancy? should a wear a little sweater to cover it up more? Any advice you could offer would help me a great deal.

Can you give us more information such as where the wedding will be held and if there will be a reception to follow. What did the wedding invitations look like? Were they very formal?

The wedding will be held in an auditorium. I never saw the invite because my boyfriend has misplaced it. I do know it is at least Semi-Formal.Another girl who is attending said she is going to wear a dress as well. There will be a reception after the wedding.

Same place. At the auditorium. The wedding is in one part of the building and the reception is in another.
