5:00 outdoor wedding - bright colors?

I am wearing a black & white paisley halter dress with hot pink sun hat and pink accessories to an outdoor wedding/reception. (See attached.) A friend says pink is too bright for an evening wedding. Should I go with black accessories? Also, is the halter dress appropriate?
