I read on another site, that third person is the general rule for wedding invitation wording. However, the invite that i like is a tri-fold, and on the 2nd fold, you include a quote of your chose. the one that i chose has "I" and "you" in it. I really want to use the quote, but not sure if I should strictly follow the 3rd person rule. In addition, "you" and "we" are also used on the third page of the invitation. Please advise.

Dear First Person,
If your wedding is not formal, you may choose any wording you wish. These could even be handwritten letters. So, it is not a problem.
Best wishes,
