What colors are off limits to wear to a wedding?

Hi,

I am attending a wedding in Canada, September 1st. It is a garden type wedding at 3pm. The wedding color is beige. What color dress/attire is good? I heard that I shouldn't wear white, red, black. What other colors are off limits?

Dear Wedding Guest,

Dress in attire you would feel comfortable wearing to a nice restaurant. Any color is fine except red. It is a powerful color that draws the eye.
