Single Guest/No Inner Envelope

My wedding invitations have no inner envelope, but I would like my single guests to know it is okay to bring a guest. Any ideas on how I can do this?

Dear Single Guest,

It is acceptable to write on the outer envelope if there is no inner envelope: Ms. Jane Smith and Guest.
