What to wear to a morning September wedding

Help ... I am attending a morning wedding in Washington DC in September and I have no idea what to wear. I am going as the date of my friend who is a groomsmen. The wedding is at 10 am with reception to follow and an informal reception that evening. What should I wear??

Dear Guest,
You wouldn't match the formality of your date. You would be dressed at one of the guests. Most likely the guests would be dressed in attire one would wear to a nice restaurant.
