Hi, I've been invited to a Sept wedding by the brother of the bride (who will be in the wedding). The wedding is at 2pm followed by the reception a few hours later. I haven't found a dress I like yet (still searching), but was wondering if a skirt/shirt would be alright to wear. The skirt is black, hits right below the knee, has a little ruffle to it. The shirt is a black/white patterned halter top (nothing too revealing in the front) but has a bare back. The wedding is also at a Catholic church. Would this be appropriate to wear? And if not, what should I look for? Thanks.
