I would like to know what the proper etiquette is when you have a bridesmaid that cannot afford her dress? Should I offer to pay half?

I would also like to know what to do when one of your bridesmaids cannot fit into the dress that has been chosen? I know that the obvious thing to do is search for another dress, but it seems that everywhere we search, no one has a dress to fit her.

I am having such a dilemma. I just don't know what to do or say. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you can afford to offer to pay for all or part of your bridesmaids dress I am sure she would very much appreciate the offer.

When selecting dresses for your bridesmaids please do consider their body shapes and sizes. If you have a bridesmaid that you know is an "out of the ordinary" size check in advance to see if the dress you select comes in her size.

You haven't said why you cannot find a dress to fit her. Is she a plus size or very tiny? If we had that information maybe we could lead you to some online stores that specialize in dresses in her size. What are the other bridesmaids sizes?

That would be wonderful if you--or anyone else--could suggest some sites to help us find a bridesmaid dress that everyone can agree on--and fit in. The friend of mine that we are having a hard time finding a dress to fit her, is plus sized. We have seen a lot of places that offer plus sizes, but not large enough to fit her. She wears an American size 28.
